The Prince of Wales Most Worshipful Grand Mark Master has been pleased to appoint Bro . John Owen Marsh , J . P ., P . G . S ., St . Eonan ' s , Abergavenny , Provincial Grand Mark Master of Monmouthshire .

The Earl of Lathom , as Great Prior of the Order of the Temple , presided on the 8 th inst . over the half-yearly meeting of the National Great Priory , held at Mark Masons' Hall . The

Earl of Euston was elected Grand Master , and installed by the Earl of Lathom . Viscount Dungarvan was appointed Great Seneschall , and the other Officers were nominated and invested .

An application has been made to the Town Council of Sandwich , from the Cinque Ports Lodge , for the use of the Guildhall for their meetings . The Lodge has hitherto met at the

Bell Hotel , but the room they have used is required for other purposes .. After some discussion it was agreed to entertain the application . The rent is to be £ 10 , and the details are to be settled by a Committee appointed for the purpose .
