would understand and appreciate his excuse for leaving them . Bro . Richardson , in the absence of the Grand Secretary , replied , thanking them for the little present , and expressed his opinion that the lodge would take a high position on the
register of the Grand Lodge of England . In giving the toast of " The Worshipful Master , " the I . P . M . described him as a good all-round Mason , svho believed in charity and did good to everyone . He would be a difficult Master to follosv .
The Worshipful Master , Bro . Walter B . Marcus , in reply , said his heart w as with the Southern Cross and also with the Chough Lodge . He hoped to conduct the lodge during his year of office with satisfaction to the brethren and credit to himself .
