He svas initiated in the Vai-borough Lodge , Xo . 351 , in 18 77 , joined Prince Edward of Saxe Weimar Lodge , Xo . 1903 , in 188 5 ( becoming W . M . in 1891 ) , and the Phoenix Lodge , Xo . 257 , in 1890 . He svas exalted in the Patriotic Chapter , Xo . 51 , in 1888 , and afterwards joined Friendship Chapter , Xo . 257 , and has

BRO . COMMANDER H . G . GILES . filled the First Principal ' s chair in each . On the retirement of Bro . Edgar Goble in 1898 , Bro . Giles was appointed Provincial Grand Secretary of Hampshire and the Isle of

Wight . He is also a Past Provincial Grand J . of both Essex and Hampshire , and is at present Grand H . of the latter province . Bro . Giles has served tsvo Stesvardships for the Girls' School , three for the Boys' School , and one for the Benevolent Institution .

Alexander Chapter , X o . 1661 , Newark-on-Trent , in 1886 , and aftersvards took part in founding the Watford Chapter , No . 404 , as well as the Earl of Clarendon Chapter , No . 1984 . He is a Past First Principal of all three . In the Provincial Grand Chapter of Hertfordshire he is a Past Grand Scribe

X ., and has been Provincial Grand Scribe E . since 1 S 99 . Bro . Colonel E . M . Wakeman is a brother of the respected Provincial Grand Master for Shropshire , Bro . Sir Offley Wakeman . He , like so many of our Grand Officers , was

initiated in the Apollo University Lodge , No . 357 , Oxford , afterwards joining the Salopian Lodge , No . 262 , of which he became W . M . in 1877 . He is also a Past Provincial Grand Superintendent of Works of Oxford and a Past Provincial Senior Grand Warden of Shropshire . He has been a Royal

Arch Mason since 1868 , and is a P . Z . of the Salopian Chapter . Bro . E . Chepmell Ozanne was initiated in Doyle ' s Lodge of Fellosvship , No . 8 4 , in 1871 , and filled the chair of W . M . in 1881 . He svas exalted in the chapter attached to the

BRO . E . CHEPMELL OZANNE . Doyle Lodge in 188 4 , and became First Principal in 1888 . Bro . Ozanne is at present Deputy Provincial Grand Master of Guernsey and Alderney , and is a Past H . of the Provincial

Grand Chapter . Bro . Colonel William Long , C . M . G ., has been a member of the Craft for thirty-six years , having been initiated in the Morning Star Lodge , Lucknosv , in 1866 . He aftersvards

joined the Royal Sussex Lodge , No . 33 ; the Lodge of Agriculture , No . 1199 ; and the Coleridge Lodge , No . 1750 , occupying the chair of the two latter in 1874 and 1880 respectively . He became a Royal Arch Mason in 18 73 in the Beaufort Chapter , No . 103 , joining the Avalon Chapter ,

No . 44 6 , in 1879 , and the Adair Chapter , No . 1750 , of which latter he ASMS elected M . E . Z . in 1888 , 188 9 , and 18 94 . Bro .
