BK . THE REV DAVIRL FIA-NX , A . M . —We regret to announce the sudden death of Br . the Rev . Daniel Flynn , which melancholy event took place at Limerick , on the 26 th of December , in the house of Dr . Gilston , with whom he Avas spending the Christmas holidays . Our deceased brother , although comparatively a young man , being only 44 years of age at the time of his decease , had yet raised for himself an enviable reputation as being one of the most successful teachers of youth in Ireland . He Avas , indeed , a distinguished scholar , and a just and upright Freemason , beloved by his pupils and by the brethren of his Lodge , No . 6 ' 20 , a Lodge ranking among its members some of the most distinguished Masons in Ireland .

'The Old Concord Ball takes place at the Queen ' s Concert Room ., Hanover Squme , on the 8 t / c inst- The ball will he , doubtless , fully attended , the proceeds being always deroletl to charity .
