several subscription lists produced it appeared that the number of subscribers amounted to ninety-four , which they considered as a number sufficient to warrant their proceeding to carry into effect the object of the meeting and authorise the Preses to write to Messrs . William Molair , Thos . Sanderson , and Andrew Armstrong , Merchants in Edinh . ordering swatches ( patterns ) of
