James ' s Hall , on Wednesday evening , the 12 th ult ., when there were present : Bros . John Joshua Harwood , W . M . ; Elwood Tibbits , I . P . M . ; James Adams , P . A ., S . W . ; George Robinson , J . W . ; W . 11 . Farrali , Sec ; the Rev . H . A . Burrowes , Chap . ; R .

The brethren having assembled and the lodge being opened in the first degree , the Secretary road the minutes of the last regular lodge and a lodge of emergency , both of which wero unanimously confirmed . The W . M . then initiated two candidates , tho ceremony being performed in a very impressive manner , the lecture on the tracing hoard being given by the I . P . M ., and tho charge by the Chaplain . The W . M . then

inormcil the brethren that ho had a very pleasing duty to perform , which was to present a handsome gold P . M . ' s jewel to Bro . Elwood Tibbits , as " a token of esteem and Masonic proficiency . " He ( the W . M . ) felt confident tint the whole of the brethren united with him in wishing Bro . Tibbits long life to wear it . Bro . Tibbits having thankod the brethren for their very handsome present , the lodge was closed down in ancient form and adjourned .
